We identify people who have worked with the candidate and gather their first-hand character insights. We aggregate and analyze the reviewers' feedback and relationship with the candidate to produce a KANNY Report, which generates once there are at least five verified reviews.
We cannot reliably describe our own character - it must be observed by others. So KANNY asks people with first-hand experience working with candidates for their insights. Team members, managers, and direct reports answer a specialized survey and the data is then anonymized and aggregated in our system.
KANNY is 100% opt-in and transparent. We do this process with - not to - candidates.

Simple! Create an account using your LinkedIn credentials. Follow the prompts, then activate your account so KANNY can get to work gathering feedback from people you have worked with in your career. We only include responses from current and former coworkers – friends and family are great but if they haven’t worked with you then they can’t weigh in on your character at work.
Anyone with confirmed overlapping work history with the you can submit a KANNY review. We understand that you may prefer for some people not to review you. No one is perfect, so our algorithm recognizes and corrects for potential bias.
Our goal is to put character at the heart of hiring. This includes giving you the ability to lock or unlock your KANNY Report at any time. KANNY customers will see that you have an report but they will not be able to access it as long as it is locked.
Yes. There is no limit to the number of character reviews you can get from verified colleagues. Our system tags reviews that come from your requested reviewers.
